Best food joints of Indore, India

Food is a very important ingridient in the recipe of a happy life. Indore has gradually gained popularity because of the tasty street food available here. Indore has in a way become the food capital. Be it poha jalebi, dal baati churma chhole tikki, hotdog, baked samosa, kachori or chinese food with indore tadka, everything has a special place here. If you are visiting Indore, I would like to tell you a few eating joints or places where you can satiate your taste buds.

1. Sarafa Bazaar
This is the most famous place of Indore. The special thing about thus place is that this bazaar starts 9PM onwards till midnight. You can get a huge variety of street food here. If you are visiting this place, you must try paani puri (10 flavours), bhutte ka kees, Joshi ke Dahivade, pav bhaaji, garadu, Gulaab Jamun, Basundi and many more.

2. Chhapan Dukan
This area is named chhapan dukan because initially there were 56 eating joints located in a row. This area is also known to foodies for many things like Pav Bhaji, Poha Jalebi, Hotdog, Pani Poori, Kulfi, patties and many more. There are a few small restaurants located in this area which can b tried.

3. Khau Gali (Court wali gali)
This gali (lane) is located near High court. This lane is known for chaat papdi. There are a few shops located in this lane where people come specially for chaat pakodi, dahi papdi, chhole tikiya, hotdog.

4. Ravi Alpahar
This is a very old and known shop. Thisf shop is specially known for its alu ki kachori and poha.

5. Besides all these, you can find random street food joints in indore for a variety of snacks. You can easily find stalls for Poha jalebi, kachori, samosa, moong bhajiya, rabdi, tea, coffee etc.

These were the street food joints which in my opinion are the 'must visit' types. All these joints can be visited with family. I would suggest people, who want to visit the above said places , to carry cash with them to make payment.
I have tried to cover small joints in this post. The next post will include small and famous restaurants of Indore. If you know any other such small food joint please comment below.
